World Cruise Awards – the global initiative to recognize and reward excellence in the cruise industry – has announced the winners of its 2021 programme.
Brands to win top honours include Norwegian Cruise Line (‘World’s Best Cruise Line’), American Cruise Lines (‘World’s Best River Cruise Line’) and Luxury Cruise Connections (‘World’s Best Cruise Travel Agency’).
Dubai, currently hosting 192 countries at the Dubai World Expo 2020, was named ‘Middle East’s Best Cruise Destination’ and ‘World’s Best Cruise Destination’. Other destination winners include Peru (‘World’s Best River Cruise Destination’), Singapore (‘Asia’s Best Cruise Destination’) and Jamaica (‘Caribbean’s Best Cruise Destination’).
The results follow a year-long search for the world’s leading cruise brands. Votes were cast by cruise industry professionals and the public, with the nominee gaining the most votes in a category named as the winner.
Other winners include DP World Mina Rashid (‘Middle East’s Best Cruise Terminal’); Celebrity Cruises (‘Latin America’s Best Cruise Line’); Azamara (‘Africa’s Best Cruise Line’); PortMiami (‘North America’s Best Cruise Terminal’); and Princess Cruises (‘Oceania’s Best Cruise Line).
